Welcome to our fishing section

We have a 13/4 acre lake well stocked with carp (upto 30lb) bream(upto12lb) roach, rudd, crucian carp,  tench and chub, plus some elusive grass carp (19. lb best this year) .

The lake is open from dawn to dusk (see below) with easy parking adjacent to the lake, and level easy access to all pegs. Next to the car park we have 3 pegs which are ideal for those who are less able to walk longer distances.

The fishery is run on a day ticket basis. Please go straight down and start fishing. We walk around the lake several times a day to take ticket money and any orders for our hot snack bar (food not available during the winter months)

OPENING TIMES

OPEN FROM 5am OR DAWN (WHICHEVER IS THE LATER) UNTIL 9.30 pm OR DUSK WHICHEVER IS THE EARLIEST.

Tips

The lake fishes well on most baits with luncheon meat and sweetcorn generally best for mixed bags, with everything including the carp taking it. Pellet and maggot doing well for the smaller fish, and the larger carp taking most baits but do like bread and boilies.
