Caravans & Camping “Adults only” site

  • Our site is on the edge of the small village of Kirkby on Bain.
  • For added security for our site we have decided to add an automatic barriers & CCTV.
  • We have a large level well drained field with 4 hard standings and 6 pitches. (we will do our best to reserve any pitch you require, but can not promise this due to logistics in the week before your stay may prove to be difficult).
  • We have 12 electric hook ups in total and 3 water points across the site making plenty of room for each pitch.
  • We also have a small grassed field that we now have turned into 5 seasonal pitches.
  • On site we have 2 Clean well maintained toilets / showers with heating (one of which is DDA compliant) and 1 separate toilet.
  • By the shower blocks we have an outside sink with hot & cold running water.
  • We have a recycling policy on site.
  • We have a small shop on site for those every day consumables.

Dogs

  • Well behaved dogs welcome, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead while on site and around the fishing lake.
  • We do have a short dog walk area on site, but there are good dog walks locally.
  • Dog waste bins are provided next to the bins on site.

Arrival and Departure

Unless previously agreed arrival should be after 13.00 and departure before 11.00.

Visitors

All visitors must be signed in to our visitor book before coming on to site, this can be found in our reception.

Elsan 
Like many dwellings in the area we are not on mains sewage, we have a biodigester tank instead. To keep it running properly we would ask that you use the biodigester friendly Elson chemicals (the biodegradable ones that don’t contain Formaldehyde) we do keep some on site if required within the shop.

We are situated next to the Ebrington Arms Public House which serves great pub grub. There are a number of other country pubs a short distance away, we will be happy to help you out with directions to these.
3 miles from Woodhall Spa which is a beautiful former Spa town set amidst magnificent 19 acres of pine woods owned by the Woodland Trust. Regarded as one of Lincolnshire’s most attractive villages, Woodhall Spa is famous for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Visit the unique ‘Kinema in the Woods’ cinema which offers regular entertainment and is home to an original Compton Kinestra organ which you might see perform in the interval if you are lucky.

Other Heritage sites include the Cottage Museum, Jubilee Park with an outdoor heated swimming pool and several aviation heritage sites associated with 617 Squadron (the Dambusters).

Woodhall Spa is also widely known as the home of amateur golf in England, with the world famous Hotchkin Course.


4 miles from Coningsby where you will find Battle Of Britain Memoria Flight Visitor Centre. Discover this rare opportunity to see aircrafts seen in flypasts at major national celebrations. Guided tours are available where you can experience close-up access of these iconic aircrafts. An enjoyable experience for all and especially for the aviation heritage enthusiast. RAF Coningsby is home to two frontline, combat-ready squadrons and is the training station for Typhoon pilots.

Visit Tattershall Castle and enjoy the history with it’s huge Gothic fireplaces and church-like windows, located. There is a riverside walk which takes you through the village of Coningsby, this is a great opportunity to spot river wildlife.


5 miles from Horncastle where you can enjoy a stroll along the quaint cobbled streets, spot thatched houses and 18th and 19th century architecture. Horncastle is also a hotspot for antiques and artisan shops as well as galleries, award winning coffee houses, restaurants and cosy traditional pubs. There is also a Tesco’s to stock up on any essentials.

Take a picturesque drive to the unspoilt coast of Anderby Creek. Visit Huttoft beach which is also known as Moggs Eye, this is a quiet rural beach backed by sand dunes. Popular for swimming, surfing and fishing. Sandilands is just a short walk away from Huttoft beach, it has a beautiful and natural golden sandy beach stretching for miles, ideal quiet coastal spot for dog walking.

Sutton on Sea is small traditional coastal village with an excellent well kept golden sandy beach, although Sutton on Sea is a popular seaside destination it has retained the character of a coastal village and doesn’t have funfairs or arcades. All of this and more can be found in the adjacent town of Mablethorpe.

Skegness is a traditional English seaside resort owing to its long, sandy beach and seafront attractions.

Payments & cancellations

Payment for your stay with us will be invoiced to you and will be due 10-days before your arrival date.

We will ask for you to settle your account at the end of your stay after final meter reading taken. We can only take cash or card (if card, the card rate will be added to your bill 1.69% for each transaction) for your final payment on site.  

All queries regarding any invoice/bill to be made within 14 days of invoice date.

We reserve the right to claim any applicable charges and statutory
interest at 8% above the Bank of England reference rate in force on the
date the debt becomes overdue and the debt remains unpaid.

Deposit are non refundable.

If you need to cancel your booking with us, we would ask for as much notice as possible to allow us to reallocate your pitch. If you cancel within 10 days before arrival date, all monies are still due and they will be invoiced for payment. This will be depending on the circumstances and will be down to a management decision.

If you cancel before 10 days of your arrival date any monies paid will be returned minus deposit and admin fees (i.e. on line booking fee if paid this way)

We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of £2.50 per amendment, should you wish to amend your booking more than once when booked direct. Otherwise the fee will stand.

Should you need to cancel due to ill heath, accidents or unforeseen circumstances full refund will be given minus admin fees (i.e. on line booking fee if paid this way) we reserve the right to ask of proof before any refund given, or we can hold your fee for another suitable date within 12 months from your original date.

CANCELLATION BY US
It is extremely unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking. However, occasionally we may have to make changes and reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes would be minor and we will advise you of them as soon as they may be applicable. If we are forced to cancel the booking because of force majeure or for any reason that makes the site unfit for use, you will have the choice of either rebooking your stay at a later date or of cancelling the booking and accepting a full refund of all monies paid to us. Please note that we are not liable for any consequential loss or incidental expenditure resulting from the cancellation of your holiday.
