Exciting news! We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Bainside campsite and fishing lake.
We have been keen campers for a number of years now and visited some amazing places in our campervan. Following this we made a huge lifestyle change by taking on the challenge of running our very own campsite.
We feel extremely lucky to have found this site in an absolutely idyllic, sleepy village just outside Woodhall Spa.
We are looking forward to welcoming both new and old guests to come and enjoy the site and all the area has to offer.

Who runs Bainside House?
Fiona and Paul, who took the site on in late 2023 after several years touring in their own campervan, and who run it themselves.
What makes Bainside different from other sites nearby?
It is adults only throughout, deliberately quiet, and built around a 1.75-acre coarse fishing lake rather than having fishing as an afterthought. Dogs stay free.
How big is the site?
Small on purpose. There are 14 touring pitches (8 hardstanding and 6 grass), 11 seasonal pitches, two lakeside glamping pods and one two-bedroom holiday let.
Is Bainside suitable for a quiet break?
Yes. The site is adults only, small, and set on the edge of the village of Kirkby on Bain, five minutes from Woodhall Spa.
Can friends or family visit me while I am staying?
Adult day visitors are welcome between 10am and 9pm at £4 per person, but please let us know before they arrive so we can check it is feasible and advise on parking.
