In short: our two adults-only glamping pods sit on the southern edge of our 1.75-acre coarse fishing lake at Kirkby on Bain, five minutes from Woodhall Spa, from £70 a night. Each sleeps two on a settee that converts to a double bed, and has a wood burner, a fridge and its own private fishing peg. Please bring your own bedding, towels and crockery.
Stay in our Pods at Bainside
Book a couple of nights away for two, or longer, to celebrate a special occasion. Unwind, fish from your own peg and watch the sun go down over the water with a glass or two.
As our pods are positioned on the southern edge of the lake, you’re in the perfect place to enjoy the last of the daylight hours under the stars.
Your pod comes with a private fishing peg, but don’t let this limit you, as we have another 30 pegs around the lake to fish from.
We have a small shop in the reception shed for those essentials, cold drinks, logs for the wood burner and more.

Open season: Our season runs from the last weekend in February to 31 October. This year we’re staying open a little longer: the last night is Thursday 3 December 2026, and we reopen on Saturday 27 February 2027.

Unless previously agreed arrival should be after 13.00 and departure before 11.00.
Payment for your stay with us will be invoiced to you and will be due 10 days before your arrival date.
All queries regarding any invoice/bill to be made within 14 days of invoice date.
Amendments to any bookings require at least 14 days notice.
We reserve the right to claim any applicable charges and statutory
interest at 8% above the Bank of England reference rate in force on the
date the debt becomes overdue and the debt remains unpaid.
If you need to cancel your booking with us, we would ask for as much notice as possible to allow us to reallocate your pod. If you cancel within 10 days before arrival date, all monies are still due and they will be invoiced for payment.
If you cancel before 10 days of your arrival date any monies paid will be returned minus deposit and admin fees (i.e. on line booking fee if paid this way)
We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of £2.50 per amendment, should you wish to amend your booking more than once when booked direct. Otherwise the fee will stand.
It is extremely unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking. However, occasionally we may have to make changes and reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes would be minor and we will advise you of them as soon as they may be applicable. If we are forced to cancel the booking because of force majeure or for any reason that makes the site unfit for use, you will have the choice of either rebooking your stay at a later date or of cancelling the booking and accepting a full refund of all monies paid to us. Please note that we are not liable for any consequential loss or incidental expenditure resulting from the cancellation of your holiday.

Is bedding provided in the glamping pods?
No. Please bring your own bedding, towels and crockery, as these are not provided in the pods.
What is inside the pod?
