Campsite
In short: Bainside is an adults-only caravan and camping site at Kirkby on Bain, five minutes from Woodhall Spa, with 14 touring pitches (eight hardstanding, six grass) on a level, well-drained field. A pitch is £25 a night without electric or £28 with an electric hook-up, for two people and an awning, and dogs stay free. Arrive after 1pm and leave before 11am.
A Beautiful Caravan & Camping Adults Only Location
Our site is on the edge of the small village of Kirkby on Bain and features a large and level well-drained field with 8 hard standings and 6 grass pitches, 2 clean and well-maintained toilet-shower rooms with heating (just outside this area is an outside sink with hot & cold water), one of which is DDA compliant, plus an additional separate toilet facility.
There are plenty of electrical hook ups also – we have 16 in total along with 6 water points across the site, allowing each pitch to have plenty of room.
Alongside the above facilities we have a small shop on site selling everyday essentials and free range eggs.
For added security for our site we have installed automatic barriers and CCTV.
At the top of our site we have 11 seasonal pitches, 5 of which have direct access to the lake.

Our season runs from the last weekend in February to 31 October. This year we’re staying open a little longer: the last night is Thursday 3 December 2026, and we reopen on Saturday 27 February 2027.

Payment for your stay with us will be invoiced to you and will be due 10-days before your arrival date.
All queries regarding any invoice/bill to be made within 14 days of invoice date.
We reserve the right to claim any applicable charges and statutory
interest at 8% above the Bank of England reference rate in force on the
date the debt becomes overdue.
If you need to cancel your booking with us, we would ask for as much notice as possible to allow us to reallocate your pitch. If you cancel within 10 days before arrival date, all monies are still due and they will be invoiced for payment. This will be depending on the circumstances and will be down to a management decision.
If you cancel before 10 days of your arrival date any monies paid will be returned minus deposit and admin fees (i.e. on line booking fee if paid this way)
We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of £2.50 per amendment, should you wish to amend your booking more than once when booked direct. Otherwise the fee will stand.
It is extremely unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your booking. However, occasionally we may have to make changes and reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes would be minor and we will advise you of them as soon as they may be applicable. If we are forced to cancel the booking because of force majeure or for any reason that makes the site unfit for use, you will have the choice of either rebooking your stay at a later date or of cancelling the booking and accepting a full refund of all monies paid to us. Please note that we are not liable for any consequential loss or incidental expenditure resulting from the cancellation of your holiday.

Yes. Bainside is an adults-only site throughout.
How much are the pitches?
A pitch for a caravan, motorhome, campervan, trailer tent or tent is £25 a night without an electric hook-up, or £28 with one, including two people and an awning. Extra adults are £5 per night. Day visitors are £4 per person between 10am and 9pm and must be arranged in advance.
Are dogs charged for?
No. There is no charge for dogs, and well-behaved dogs are welcome across the site on a lead.
